We are Tom, Ros, Lawrie and Wilfred + Nala and Scrappy the rescue pups, Bosco and Spike the cats.

We are a straight edge (no drugs or alcohol) wholefood fed family. We are in the early stages of our yoga journey. Working every day to become stronger and healthier by practicing yoga, breath work and maintain a positive outlook on life.

We have connected with so many people who have inspired us to start walking this path and hope to connect with even more.

When Lawrie was born in 2016 we quickly realised that the matrix script of work sleep grind repeat was not for us any more and we wanted to manifest a different lifestyle. A lifestyle closer to nature where we had time to follow our passions, learn new skills and most importantly do all of this with Lawrie. 

In 2018 when Lawrie was still 1 we purchased a converted Iveco Daily camper, sold or gave away everything from our house that we didn’t need or just wouldn’t fit in our van. This turned out to be 90% of our possessions! We rented our house out and set off for mainland Europe. 13 countries and 20,000 miles later we end up in Portugal. We instantly felt at home and fell in love with Portugal. We knew this was the place we wanted to call home and for Lawrie to grow up.

After a 4 month search we found our current quinta in a small village with only 10 other permanent residents just outside Figueiro Dos Vinhos. We had a short 3 week detour back to the UK to get a fresh MOT on the van and gather a few of our things out of storage before we jumped in to full time life here in Portugal. At the time our vision was to create a space to share with vanlifers on a conscious donation basis. This very quickly evolved into hosting over 200 guests from vanlifers to backpackers, supporting our friends to set up a community, helping advise and guide so many people to find incredible places to live in Portugal and being a part of the wider community in our area.

Long term we dream of hosting a festival here and be a part of creating community network . We believe in letting things unfold organically. We just like to go with the flow and surrender to the mystery of the universe.
